Network Administration Diploma

Objective

The objective of this program is to train individuals in network administration. Upon graduation, students will receive a diploma.

Graduates of this program will qualify for entry-level work maintaining network and computer systems for any company that utilizes an information technology department.

Length of Program

The program takes one and one-half academic years consisting of three semesters, each including two 8-week terms. The minimum time to complete the program is 12 months (48 weeks, including breaks). Students must complete a minimum of 48 credit hours. The complete program consists of approximately 855 hours, which is comprised of 585 hours of theory and 270 hours of laboratory.

Requirements

The requirements to enter into this program are, at a minimum, a high school diploma or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) and a passing grade of 70% on the entrance examination.

On-time Graduation Rate

The on-time graduation rate is defined as the total number of students who completed the Network Administration Diploma program in the published minimum time frame of 12 months. Most Missouri Tech students are non-traditional and work while attending college. As such, many of our students are part-time and thus unable to complete within 12 months.
