The steps to enroll at Missouri Tech are simple:
- Complete a questionnaire
- Tour the campus
- Meet the entrance criteria
- Enroll
After completing a short questionnaire, prospective applicants are taken on a tour of the facilities. This provides an opportunity for them to ask question and listen to a presentation of our philosophy and programs.
All applicants must hold at a minimum a high school diploma or GED. In addition, they must meet one of the following criteria:
- Pass the Missouri Tech entrance examination with a score of 70% or better.
- or achieve a 20 or better on the ACT
- or achieve a score of 1500 or better on the SAT.
Upon meeting the entrance criteria, and based on an interview with an admissions representative, a decision will be made whether to grant admission to the college.
Once admitted, successful applicants will complete the enrollment agreement. At this time they will have an opportunity to meet with a financial aid representative to discuss available funding options, as well as a career planning and placement representative to complete a placement assessment. Finally new students will see the Registrar to schedule their classes.
