Bachelor of Science in Network Administration Security, 2007
I had always been interested in the technology field and knew I needed to find an alternative to my retail career. I had tried community college, but it just wasn’t a good fit for me.
I enrolled at Missouri Tech in the Network Administration program in November of 2003. Less than two years later, I landed a great job through the school’s placement program. Once I received my Bachelor’s Degree in May 2007, I received a substantial increase in pay.
Since then, my interest and passion for technology has not faded; however, keeping up with enterprise technology can be somewhat difficult. One of the best things about Missouri Tech is the option to come back and audit classes you have already taken and passed, free of charge. I am now finishing up my MCITP 2008 Server Administrator certification, which will only make me a more valuable professional in the IT field.
The instructors at Missouri Tech also made it an easy choice to revisit the classes. They are top notch and bring experience and professionalism to the learning environment.
