Missouri
Tech Campus and Facilities
Missouri
Tech is located in the metropolitan St. Louis area,
not far from such city attractions as Busch Statium
(15 miles) and Forest Park (10 miles). The college occupies
a building in the Corporate Square Office Park, which
is landscaped with lawns, trees, and a lake. The facilities
include eight classrooms, a student lounge, a library,
and administrative offices.
The
lounge provides students a place to relax and meet with
their classmates. In the Library, students research
technical and business topics or work on homework. Our
Resource Library houses many computer programs, videotapes
and technical books available to students whenever Missouri
Tech is open.
Computer
Lab
A large computer lab with 100 workstations provides
plenty of room and equipment for learning. Each workstation
operates under the Windows XP operating system and is
connected to the college's Windows 2003 domain. Most
popular software packages are installed on the lab computers
including Visual Studio 2003, AutoCad, Visio, Publisher,
FrontPage, Microsoft Office 2003 and Labview. Electronics
students may look forward to using circuit trainers,
hydraulics trainers, programmable logic controllers,
pneumatics trainers, logic analyzers, power meters,
sweep generators, frequency counters, transistor checkers,
curve tracers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters
and component testers.
Housing
Missouri Tech will assist students in arranging convenient
and affordable living quarters. Apartments are available
within easy walking distance.
