  This course is designed to give students an understanding of the characteristics and performance of electrical rotating machines. There will be a comprehensive treatment of DC motors and generators, single and polyphase motors, alternators, synchronous machines, polyphase induction motors, single-phase induction motors, and motor control and operation.
