In this course students will study various
styles of management. Students will explore
management functions including planning,
organizing, and motivating. Students will develop an understanding of management functions which will provide them—especially those with no on-the-job experience—an appreciation for the expectations placed upon them by their
managers. This course should help students to adapt their behavior to work environments in which they are not familiar. The understanding of management concepts should allow students to assume management positions in volunteer and community organizations and aid students
throughout both their professional and private lives.
