This course examines major ethical issues
facing people in the practice of their profession. Students should gain an understanding of the need for professionalism and a code of ethics; the
process of ethical decision-making in different working environments; and the rights, duties, and conflicting responsibilities of citizens. This course should provide students the ability to evaluate their actions and understand the potential repercussions. We consider the ability to make ethical choices in difficult situations essential to all individuals throughout both their professional lives and their private lives.
