Network Administration Diploma (DNTA)


Objective
The objective of this program is to train individuals for entry-level jobs in network administration. Graduates of this program will qualify for work maintaining network and computer systems for any company that utilizes an Information Technology department. Upon graduation, students will receive a diploma.

Requirements
The requirements to enter into this program are, at a minimum, a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate and a passing grade of 70% on the entrance examination.

Class Schedule
Mon-Thu 8:00 a.m. to 1:50 p.m.
or
Mon-Thu 5:00 p.m. to 10:50 p.m.

Lab Hours
Mon-Thu 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Classes begin every 8 weeks.

Length of Course
The program takes one and one-half academic years consisting of three semesters, each including two 8-week terms. The minimum time to complete the program is 12 months (48 weeks, including breaks). Students must complete a minimum of 48 credit hours. Lab time for the complete program is approximately 270 hours; theory time, 585 hours.
