Career Planning and Placement

The Career Planning and Placement Office helps graduates to secure suitable employment. Our history of excellent placement rates stem from the value employers place on our high standards of education and career-oriented training. The primary function of the placement staff is to match graduates with job opportunities. They also assist in the preparation of professional resumes and coach effective interviewing techniques.

The Career Planning and Placement Office also helps interested students find employment while attending college, provided these students are maintaining satisfactory grades and upholding the standards of the 5 A’s. Such positions provide valuable experience, in addition to benefiting students financially. Not all available jobs, however, will necessarily be in their chosen career field.

The School cannot and does not guarantee either part-time placement while attending school or full-time placement for its graduates.
To international students who qualify, Missouri Tech offers Curricular Practical Training and Optional Practical Training in accordance with INS Memorandum C0214.2F-C 5/4/92.
